1. Create a folder in your C:\ called Ostendo Continuum. This must be separate to any Ostendo 242 folders.
  2. Download the Ostendo Remote zip file from https://www.ostendo.info/downloads/ostendo/ostendoremote.zip and paste into your Ostendo Continuum folder and unzip.
  3. Also paste into the folder the clientconfig.text file you were provided, which is the cloud link to your Ostendo database.
  4. Right click on the ostendoconfig.exe file and select Properties. Tick the Unblock box as below if it is visible. 
  5. Run the ostendoconfig.exe file As Administrator, which will open the screen below. It will also create an ostendo.exe file in the same folder.
    1. Open the Companies (Remote) tab
    2. Click on Load and select the clientconfig.txt file you were provided.
    3. Select the Startup Company
  6. In the Ostendo Updates tab select Action>Download and Update to upgrade Ostendo to the latest version
  7. Do the same for each line on the Utility Updates tab
  8. Create a shortcut icon on your desktop for the ostendo.exe file which is what you will use to open Ostendo Continuum on your computer
  9. Create a shortcut icon on your desktop for ostendoconfig.exe which is where you can apply updates to Ostendo Continuum as they are released on the web.
